New Venue and Facilities: The Rainhall Centre
From 1^st September 2007 our venue for indoor meetings is the Rainhall Centre in Barnoldswick. Indoor meetings are held monthly from October to April. Our meeting room is on the ground floor. Meetings are held on Friday's beginning at 7.30pm. Local car parking is readily available. There are toilet facilities in the building and wheelchair access.

Subscriptions for 2009 to 2010
Subscriptions this year will remain the same although some discussion on a possible future increase to offset higher costs at the new venue will have to take place. So for now subscriptions remain at £12.00 single and £16.00 for family.

CPGS is affiliated to the Geologists' Association.

For Speakers
Speakers will have access to equipment to enable Powerpoint presentations i.e projector and a multimedia notebook PC.

Invited speakers have proved to be popular, informative and entertaining. Meetings end with informal discussion.
