League Cup Final of 1967

Wembley has been staging the F.A. Cup Finals since 1923, without parading a single club from outside the first two divisions of the Football League.  Today the League Cup Final is being played here for the first time in its present form, and Queens Park Rangers bring about the Third Division's long-overdue representation at the Stadium

Quote from Alec Stock
"Football is an entertainment as well as a sport, and we have to give the customers what they want.  They want success and they want goals . . . . . " An idea that Rodney Marsh subscribed to and maintained throughout his illustrious playing career.
